62ο Πανευρωπαϊκό Συνέδριο FITCE
Με εξαιρετική επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκαν οι εργασίες του 62ου Πανευρωπαϊκού Συνεδρίου της Ομοσπονδίας Τηλεπικοινωνιακών Μηχανικών της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (FITCE) που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αθήνα από 28 έως 29 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023 στην OTEAcademy στο Μαρούσι Αττικής με ταυτόχρονη διαδικτυακή μετάδοση.
Η εκδήλωση με τίτλο «Services and Infrastructures towards a smart society» ξεκίνησε με χαιρετισμούς από τον Πρόεδρο του Ελληνικού Τμήματος της FITCE κ. Κωνσταντίνου Σιδηρόπουλου και του Προέδρου της FITCE Europe κ. Marc Verbruggen από το Βέλγιο.
Το Πρόγραμμα των δύο ημερών διαρθρώθηκε στις ακόλουθες πέντε συνεδρίες προσανατολισμένες στη βιομηχανική παραγωγή με ενδιαφέρουσες ομιλίες από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό και παρουσιάστηκαν επίσης οι νέες προοπτικές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης σε ερευνητικά έργα στον τομέα του 6G, του Cybersecurity, και της Υγείας:
- Καινοτόμες Τεχνολογίες 6G και Υποδομές Οπτικών Ινών
- Μη Δημόσια Δίκτυα και Ασύρματες Υποδομές
- Προοπτικές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης
- Νέες Τεχνολογίες – Ενεργοποιητές επικοινωνιών – Κάθετες Αγορές
- Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη – Analytics: Μέσα για τη βελτιστοποίηση των Δικτύων
και δύο συνεδρίες προσανατολισμένες στην ακαδημαϊκή κατεύθυνση:
- Ικανότητες και Δεξιότητες σε Ευρωπαϊκά Πανεπιστήμια
- Προηγμένες ασύρματες υποδομές
Στόχος της εκδήλωσης ήταν να αναδείξει τις προκλήσεις στον τομέα της κινητής τηλεφωνίας και του δικτύου των οπτικών ινών καθώς και να παρουσιαστούν νέες εφαρμογές στον τομέα του ΙοΤ, των ιδιωτικών δικτύων, και πως η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη μπορεί να βελτιώσει την ποιότητα των Τηλεπικοινωνιών. Στο χώρο της εκδήλωσης λειτούργησε έκθεση επίδειξης με καινοτόμα τεχνολογικά προϊόντα Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών από εταιρείες υψηλής τεχνολογίας που συμμετείχαν στην εκδήλωση όπως COSMOTE, Duraline, MICOS, AVM, Intracom Telecom, Mortek, and ZTE. Φωτογραφία από την έκθεση φαίνεται παρακάτω:
Σημαντικός αριθμός μηχανικών και επιστημόνων από το χώρο των τηλεπικοινωνιών είχαν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν ενδιαφέρουσες εισηγήσεις, τόσο από Έλληνες και ξένους πανεπιστημιακούς καθηγητές, ερευνητικά ιδρύματα και ρυθμιστικές αρχές όσο και από εκπροσώπους φορέων και εταιριών Σταθερής και Κινητής τηλεφωνίας και ανώτατα στελέχη επιχειρήσεων του χώρου των Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ).
Η μαζική συμμετοχή των επιστημόνων στο Συνέδριο συνηγορεί στο γεγονός, ότι υπάρχει έντονο ενδιαφέρον για τις εξελίξεις και για τα θέματα αιχμής στο χώρο των ΤΠΕ τόσο σε εμπορικό όσο και σε τεχνολογικό επίπεδο. Οι εργασίες του Συνεδρίου ανέδειξαν τα σημαντικά θέματα, συνέβαλαν στην ενημέρωση και βοήθησαν στην επικοινωνία μεταξύ των στελεχών του χώρου.
Το Συνέδριο πλαισιώθηκε με ένα πρόγραμμα κοινωνικών εκδηλώσεων προβάλλοντας στις Συνοδούς ιδιαίτερα των ξένων Αντιπροσωπειών σημαντικά αξιοθέατα της χώρας μας.
Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Ελληνικού Τμήματος της FITCE και η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή του Συνεδρίου αισθάνεται την ανάγκη να ευχαριστήσει θερμά τους συμμετέχοντες που τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους το Συνέδριο, τους ομιλητές για τα ενδιαφέροντα θέματα που παρουσίασαν και ιδιαίτερα τους χορηγούς οι οποίοι με την οικονομική υποστήριξή τους συνέβαλαν αποφασιστικά στην πραγματοποίηση και την επιτυχία του.
Ευχαριστεί επίσης τον Εθνικό οργανισμό Τουρισμού (ΕΟΤ) και τον Δήμο Αμαρουσίου που έθεσαν το Συνέδριο υπό την αιγίδα τους.

62nd European FITCE Congress
The proceedings of the 62nd Pan-European Congress of the Federation of Telecommunications Engineers of the European Community (FITCE) held in Athens from September 28 to 29, 2023 at the OTEAcademy in Marousi Attica with a parallel webcast were completed with great success.
The event entitled “Services and Infrastructures towards a smart society” started with greetings from the President of the Hellenic Branch of FITCE Mr. Konstantinos Sidiropoulos and the President of FITCE Europe Mr. Marc Verbruggen from Belgium.
The two-day Program was structured into the following five industrial track-oriented sessions with interesting talks from Greece and abroad along with representatives from EU who presented the upcoming directives and prospects of EU in research projects in the areas of 6G, Cybersecurity and Health:
- Innovative Technologies 6G and Fiber Infrastructures
- Non-Public Networks and Wireless Infrastructures
- EU Perspectives
- New Technologies – Enablers – Verticals
- Artificial Intelligence – Analytics: Means to optimize Networks.
and two scientific track-oriented sessions:
- Competences and Skills in European Universities
- Advanced wireless infrastructures

The scope of the event was to present the challenges in the sector of mobile and fixed fiber-optic telecoms and also the new services in the IoT sector, private networks and artificial intelligence that can lead to new perspectives for the improvement of the quality of telecommunications.
A demonstration exhibition with innovative IT and Communication technology products from high-tech companies participating in the congress was held at the event site in which the companies COSMOTE, Duraline, MICOS, AVM, Intracom Telecom, Mortek, and ZTE presented innovative technologies, services and products. A significant number of Engineers and Scientists from the field of telecommunications had the opportunity to attend interesting presentations, both by Greek and foreign university professors, research institutions and regulatory authorities, as well as by representatives of Fixed and Mobile telephony operators and companies and senior executives of companies in the field of Technology Information Technology and Communications (ICT).
The massive participation of Scientists at the Conference is proof of the fact that there is a strong interest in the developments and cutting-edge issues in the field of ICT both at a commercial and technological level. The works of the Conference highlighted the important issues, contributed to the information, and helped the communication between the executives of the field.
The Conference was framed with a program of social events which came into sight important sights of our country to the Escorts, especially of the foreign Delegations.
The Board of Directors of the Greek Section of FITCE and the Organizing Committee of the Conference feel the need to warmly thank the participants who honored with their presence the conference, the speakers for the interesting topics they presented and especially the sponsors who contributed decisively with their financial support in its realization and success.
